Aurora - Amor

Aurora - Amour

When the eye gazes at the splendour of the gold and when the eye travels over the details of Klimt's painting The Kiss, my heart opens like a rose and opens to all that the abundance of the painting conveys. At a certain moment, I did not just surrender this experienced beauty in a string of words, this experience also led me into painting. Thus, in addition to the text, a series of paintings with the motif of an open rose was created, which with its picturesqueness depicts the sensibility of intertwined words.

The image of the rose, at its core, symbolises above all what I am writing about, about devotion and love. That's why I named the poem Amour and not Kiss!

A poem from the book Aurora:

Amour

A golden reflection, shadow less raves through my veins,
the mystic kiss hunts the silent silhouette,
I am not dreaming, simply standing before you.

The view stops on the left,
everywhere black and white lanes form the impression,
the line is strict!

The heart craves the golden shine,
but knows that it must not be touched.

The view to the right is overflowing,
through colourful spiral shades the eye glides,
the line is soft!

A word that does not appear lives before me,
I know that it must not be moved.

Now the glance slips upwards,
with a flashing tide I touch the gold,
like a poem from a distant star, the myth takes over me.

A quiet and blue gaze, directed at the new moon,
in the eyes love is silent, everything appears as before,
I am dreaming, but not sleeping, just standing in front of you.

Without shape, I move my mind across the body,
stronger than rain, I pour these tears into gold,
the bohemian is drowning deeper into Klimt’s Kiss.
