JEWELRY CARE AND DISCLAIMER

Jewellery made of precious metals is delicate, so handling it with care and caution is necessary.

The guidelines outlined below provide instructions on how to care for jewellery to maintain its beauty and shine over time.

SILVER AS MATERIAL

Silver has a gentle, reflective quality associated with the moon's soothing energy. It exudes a sense of glamour and sophistication, accentuating a woman's beauty and allure. As a material, silver is known for its calming and cleansing effects on the body. Its elegant shine embodies a touch of mystery and symbolises tranquillity.

Our jewellery is crafted from 925-purity silver. This material is safe for direct skin contact and requires minimal effort to maintain its shine.

GOLD AS A MATERIAL

The shimmer of gold embodies notions of wealth, warmth, and is closely intertwined with human energy. It's also strongly associated with the vibrant energy of the sun and higher ideals and wisdom.

Gold, unlike some metals, doesn't tarnish, but it can accumulate dirt from skin oils, makeup, body lotion, or other substances that come into contact with it. Cleaning it is simple, requiring only mild soap or a soft cloth. While gold is relatively soft, it's not as delicate as silver; however, it can still sustain scratches if handled carelessly.

To preserve its brilliance, avoid wearing gold jewellery in thermal or salt water and keep it away from heat or hot surfaces. Additionally, it's best to steer clear of adhesives, chemicals, and direct exposure to natural sunlight.

THE NOTION OF JEWELLERY WEAR

Wear relates to the general condition that precious metal jewellery acquires as it ages. Precious metals are relatively soft and can gradually deform without proper care, leading to potential scratches and permanent alterations to the surface of the designed product.

WHAT IS TARNISHING

Tarnishing in silver refers to a chemical transformation that takes place on the metal's surface. Silver naturally darkens over time as it's exposed to various environmental factors, such as polluted air, perfumes, moisture, heat, etc.

This darkening process alters the metal's sheen; initially, it takes on a slight yellowish hue, then transitions into shades of brown, ultimately turning the metal almost black. This underscores the importance of caring for your jewellery and maintaining regular cleaning routines, which can help preserve its original appearance for an extended period.

JEWELLERY CARE

Our silver jewellery is crafted from pure 925 silver, renowned for its exquisite shine. However, silver is a delicate metal that can easily scratch if not handled with care. Tarnishing, a natural process, occurs primarily due to environmental factors such as humidity and exposure to elements like polluted air, perfumes, skin creams, salt water, or hairspray.

To clean your silver jewellery, use a soft cloth made of 100% cotton (without any lumps). A gentle rub with a flannel cloth is ideal. Given silver's soft nature, be cautious not to over-polish it, as excessive force can lead to scratches. For optimal results, remove grease and dirt with warm soapy water and gently rub the surface with a cloth. If you require a more effective cleaning method, we recommend using specialised silver polishing cloths. These cloths are designed to restore your jewellery's lustre by thoroughly eliminating dirt, grease, and fingerprints.

Avoid using paper towels, polyester, or any abrasive fabric for cleaning, as they may contain wood or synthetic fibres that can cause fine scratches on the silver's surface. Take care not to damage your silver jewellery when cleaning it.

In cases of severe tarnishing, and if you lack the time for cleaning, we suggest seeking assistance from a professional silver cleaner. Make sure to thoroughly dry your jewellery with a soft, non-abrasive cloth before storing it.

Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any severe damage to the jewellery caused by mishandling or improper care.

USE OF JEWELRY

Frequent wear, especially daily wear, can accelerate your jewellery's natural wear and tear, potentially shortening its lifespan. Put on your jewellery after applying makeup, hair products, body and hand creams, perfumes, etc. It should be the last thing you wear and the first thing you remove.

Remove your jewellery before bedtime. Avoid exposing your jewellery to water; for instance, remove rings before washing your hands. When not wearing your jewellery, store it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and potential scratches.

To further extend the life of your jewellery:

Keep it away from hot surfaces, sharp or abrasive objects, and water, particularly salt water.

Store your jewellery away from adhesives, chemicals, and direct natural sunlight. Refrain from storing it in the bathroom, as the humidity can be detrimental.

Taking proper care of your silver jewellery can ensure its long-lasting beauty, so treat it with care and attention.

JEWELLERY WITH GEMSTONES

Precious gemstones, while inherently durable, can be susceptible to damage through mishandling and neglect. Jewellery featuring stones such as onyx, ruby, diamond, pearl, and others should be handled with care due to their delicate nature.

To clean gemstone jewellery, use a dry, lint-free, 100% cotton cloth or a mild soapy solution with water. For organic stones like pearls, simply use a damp cloth for cleaning.

Avoid using paper towels, as the fibres in such materials can cause scratches and diminish the quality of your jewellery. It's essential to store jewellery containing precious gemstones separately from other pieces. Use a protective box or bag for storage. Keep in mind that most gemstones are considerably harder than metal, so jewellery with gemstones can easily scratch other pieces of jewellery if not stored separately.

CARE OF LEATHER PRODUCTS AND DISCLAIMER

Nothing lasts forever, not even handmade bags and fashion accessories. But they can last long if you care for them properly.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF LEATHER BAGS

If you want to extend the life of the leather bag, store it in the original protective bag and place it in a dry and dark place. Stuff the bag with stuffing such as smooth paper to keep it in shape, but never use newspaper as this paper is too stiff. Newspaper can also stain the inner lining of the bag.

CLEANING

For cleaning leather products, use a soft cloth crafted from 100% cotton without any lumps.

Avoid exposing your leather products to direct heat or extended periods of sunlight, as this can cause discolouration and hardening of the leather. Additionally, avoid contact with chemicals, sharp objects, adhesives, and excessive moisture. Leather is inherently permeable and cannot be completely waterproof.

METAL ORNAMENTS ON LEATHER PRODUCTS

Ornaments adorning bags and belts are meticulously crafted from solid brass and are galvanically coated with nickel. Each ornament is handcrafted by highly skilled artisans. To preserve these leather goods with metal ornaments, store them in a protective bag, away from solid objects, water, and excessive heat.

CARE OF GICLÉE ART PRINTS AND ORIGINAL PAINTINGS AND DISCLAIMER OF GICLÉE ART PRINT

GICLÉE ART PRINT

The Giclée technique represents the pinnacle of print quality. It delivers art prints that are exceptionally rich in colour and detail, capturing all the nuances of the original artwork. These prints are produced on the finest archival paper, which is acid and lignin-free, ensuring longevity and resistance to ageing. The paper's smooth surface provides a tactile softness, enhancing the depth and beauty of the print.

Our prints use high-quality, UV-resistant inks that are non-toxic. They incorporate an extended colour palette, with graphics printed at a remarkable resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi. Under optimal lighting conditions, this printing method guarantees up to 100 years of impeccable colour stability.

The original artworks undergo meticulous scanning to create a faithful reproduction nearly indistinguishable from the original, even to the naked eye.

Paper: Innova soft textured natural white 200g (archival paper)

Ink: Canon 12 colour Lucia EX pigments, providing up to 100 years of durability.

HANDLING ARTISTIC PRINTS

To preserve the original condition of the print, do not remove it from the protective sleeve before framing. Here I would like to point out that even though the prints are printed with the highest quality materials, the inks can be prone to leave fingerprints. When handling the print, it is recommended that you wear protective gloves and be careful to only touch the edges of the image and not the inked surface.

If the print is rolled and placed in a tube, it is essential to flatten it before framing. First, carefully unscrew it, being careful not to break it. Please find a flat surface, and after gently unwrapping your print, place a board or a large book on it so that it covers the entire surface of the print. Leave it like this for at least 24 hours. If the paint is still slightly curled after this time, leave it weighted for another day. When the print is completely flat, you can easily place it in the frame.

When the picture is framed, it is recommended not to place it in direct sunlight. As always, sunlight has strong UV rays that can contribute to the fading of an image, regardless of its quality. If you want to additionally protect the picture, use frames with UV-protective glass.

FRAMING

Placing the picture under the glass surface plays a vital role in protecting artworks from external influences. You have to ensure that the glass does not disturb the look of the artwork but emphasises it. The glass protects the image from external environmental influences, such as ozone, UV light, moisture, dust, soot, oils, fly droppings, and other nuisances.

For optimal protection of works on paper, it is better to choose anti-UV glass than ordinary glass. UV light can damage the structure of the image. As a result, it becomes increasingly fragile and porous over time. UV protective glass stops this ageing process, allowing the artwork to remain intact by preserving it in its original state. An adequately chosen frame can further emphasise the artwork and increase its aesthetic value.

We recommend contacting art studios that deal with this professionally for appropriate and high-quality framing. Their knowledge and experience will provide you with the best service and support.

Please note that we cannot assume responsibility for any damage to art prints caused by the customer. Similarly, we are not liable for any harm that may befall the original paintings on canvas and paper.

MAY THE PAINTINGS FILL YOU WITH LOVE AND JOY.
